What is BitcoinZ?

BitcoinZ (BTCZ) is a 100 % Community driven digital coin (cryptocurrency). It was launched by anonymous founders as a gift to the world for financial freedom.

BitcoinZ is not a Bitcoin's blockchain fork and it had its own genesis block. It used the "Bitcoin" name because it follows all the fair fundamental and revolutionary characteristics that Bitcoin introduced :
It has no owners or CEO, it implements the Proof of Work, it had no premine, instamine or ICO sales, no founder's tax and it is ideologically motivated and based on volunteering work. The Project is designed with a strict approach of respecting its basic rules and some immutable parameters. Parameters like the maximum coin supply, the Proof of Work character or the slow and fair mining reward's halving plan (every 4 years) are immutable and there is zero tolerance to any speculative tactics that could potentially lead to such kind of changes. Forks are allowed only for scalability and improvements and every decision about the choices of the project are subject of voting procedures.

On the other hand, BitcoinZ is utilizing the ZK-Snarks cryptography and it offers optional privacy for the user's transaction with Z-addresses. At the same time the user enjoys very high transaction speed and importantly, extremely low fees that almost next to zero even for low sum transactions.

Furthermore The BitcoinZ Community is trying to implement ASIC-resistant algorithms for mining and pioneered in the development of ZHash, the ASIC-resistant variant of the Equihash algorithm that is used by many projects today. This way, BitcoinZ always protects the mining Community and it maximizes the Decentralization in the coin distribution level the coin is minable even by a typical PC with a medium or low-end GPU with a meaningful mining reward. Additionally BitcoinZ has launched the first Dynamic Roadmap in the Cryptocurrency world: An ever evolving Roadmap full with innovative projects which target to expand the BTCZ unique Ecosystem.Btcz.app payment gateways, TxtZ,  Btcz.me easy share, VaultZ, Cryptospedia, RockerZ radio and Digital EatZ are just some examples.

This Roadmap is a community oriented one and it is dynamically changing through an event series, called "ZBrain". ZBrain are online Community meetings where the developers and the community members are presenting the recent advancements of the BTCZ Ecosystem, are discussing future plans and are interacting publicly. So in BTCZ’s Roadmap almost nothing is static, as the Community members can interact with their votes in order to change the priorities or add brand new targets as more developers with extra ideas are joining the BitcoinZ project.
